北京的气候为典型的暖温带季风气候，一年四季区分显著。春秋两季是观光游览的好时机。尤其是北京的秋季，凉爽宜人，人称“金色的秋天”。麦克正在和他的中国朋友丽丽谈北京的天气。

Beijing has a typical temperate and monsoonal climate with four clearly distinct seasons. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for sightseeing. Being's autumn, in particular, is well-known as “Golden Fall” because of its cool and fresh air. Mike is talking about Beijing's weather with his Chinese friend Lili.

麦克：

你觉得北京的天气怎么样？

Mike:

What do you think of the weather in Beijing?

 

 

丽丽：

北京的秋天最好，春天经常刮风。

Lili:

Autumn is the best season in Beijing, since there is a lot of wind in spring.

 

 

麦克：

夏天的天气呢？

Mike:

How about in summer?

 

 

丽丽：

北京的夏天不太热。因为经常下雨，很凉爽。

Lili:

It's not too hot in summer. Because there is a lot of rain, it's nice and cool.

 

 

麦克：

冬天冷吗？

Mike:

Is it very cold in winter?

 

 

丽丽：

北京的冬天比较冷。

Lili:

Yes, it's rather cold in winter.

 

 

麦克：

这么说，要是旅游的话，秋天最好，春天和夏天也不错。

Mike:

That is to say, autumn is the best season for tourists. And spring and summer are also okay.

 

 

丽丽：

你说得对。

Lili:

That's right.
